How to Create Your "Favorite 30 List":
- Take out a piece of paper and number it 1-30
- Set a timer for 10 minutes
- Write down your favorite meals
- Run around and ask your family for their favorites
- Put the final list in a page protector
Weekly Meal Plan:
Monday - Stir-fry and Rice
Tuesday-Big Mac Salad
Wednesday- Chicken Caeser Wraps
Thursday - Zippy Casserole
Friday -Pita Pizzas
Saturday - Beef Stroganoff
Sunday- Cream of Potato and Ham Soup
Weekly Prep:
- Peel and cut carrots and put in water to store. Keeps them fresh longer
- Cut oranges into wedges
- Cut apples into wedges and store with lemon-lime soda
- Apple pie overnight oats
Other tips to save time and energy:
- Carve out time to prep and plan
- Double batch where you can. Ie. double mashed potatoes, rice and ground beef
- Pantry fridge, freezer shop and use what you have
- Didn’t make all your meals you planned-no biggie, make them this week
- Let your gadgets do the hard work for you
- Multi-task where you can
- What are a couple simple things you can prep for breakfast, lunch even dinner
- Keep a sink of soapy water to wash and rinse as you go-saves time on clean up
